Global Warming Fraud Coming to Light-A Nuclear Messiah?

One of the crown jewels of the so-called "Green" movement has been the anthropomorphic, or man-caused (AGW) hysteria.  People worldwide have bought into this theory despite overwhelming evidence that global warming itself is a natural and unstoppable occurrence witnessed by eons worth of data about the history of the planet.

But the masses cannot resist a crisis.  Responding to a perceived crisis by helping makes folks feel good (less guilty) and part of something bigger; something important.  The unscrupulous, including the Obama administration and the Left, understand this and piggyback political agendas on top of each "crisis" to get things done.  This is not new, but the AGW hysteria seems to be the first time an issue has been promoted on a planetary scale ....... for what purpose?

When you look behind the curtain of Oz, you see the people pulling the strings are the One-World crowd.  The ones that believe everyone is entitled to a share of the planet's bounty regardless of their ability, reproductive responsibility, worth or energy.  They have a little problem though.  An ACORN style revelation has come onstage in the form of emails hacked from the servers at the University of East Anglia in the UK.  Specifically the climate research unit.  You may or may not have heard about this because it is incredibly damaging to the AGW political agenda, thus off limits for the mainstream media.  The spin is already in high gear to portray the excerpts as out of context or meaningless bits, but the entire emails are available on the web for all to read.

The Anglia emails are the first hard evidence of what the AGW skeptics have always thought to be true; that there was a conspiracy within scientific circles to massage data, withhold data and block research that supported the AGW skeptics.  I can only hope that this is the beginning of a series of  larger , more damning, stories that will crush the AGW forever.  Then mankind can return to responsible pollution control and development of alternative power sources without a return to the Stone Age.

On top of this all a recent University of Utah study on CO2 emissions was released which said that the only way to stop emissions worldwide was for a global economic crash. Will, or would, such a crash be engineered by influential AGW zealots?  Further, the report went on to say that to counteract the existing emissions volume worldwide would take the construction of one nuclear plant per day that removes a fossil fuel plant from the grid.    Nuclear power?  Man, that's a laugh.  Nuclear energy has been demonized by the Left and the "Greens" ever since the movie "The China Syndrome" was produced back in 1979.  Consequently the US has been stuck in the mud on nuclear energy for the last 30 years.  The Left's latest victory; to stop construction of the Yucca Mountain repository, where the taxpayers have spent billions to find a safe place to store spent nuclear material.  All because it couldn't be guaranteed to store waste for 100,000 years.  If anyone in their right mind thinks we mankind will still be here in 100,000 years or we have not developed a technology to permanently dispose of the nuclear waste by then, they are crazy. How ironic that the nuclear energy the Left has tried to save us from would now be considered a way to deliver us from global catastrophe.  But this is what it has come to.   Thank God for the Anglia hacker and the ACORN style whistle blowers, maybe now this AGW hype will implode.

The key to global prosperity is ABUNDANT and CHEAP energy and that is not the agenda that the Left and the Green crowd Kool Aid drinkers are pushing. With power and technology, mankind can do anything.  Including getting off of Mother GAEA and out into space.  The AGW crowd would have us fall backward and accept less for our race rather than more.

Happy Thanksgiving-What To Learn From The Pilgrims

Obama should have taken a break from the sermons of  Jeremiah Wright and spent less time reading Karl Marx.  Instead he should have been boning up on his history.  The Pilgrim lesson could have saved all Americans from the deluded effort Obama is embarking on (and it probably would have if it was taught in school).  It seems that, way back when, the Pilgrims tried what Obama is trying to pack down on the American people......communism.

Many don't know this, but the original Pilgrim experiment is strikingly familiar to the current "change" taking place in America.  But how could the Pilgrims shed any light on the matters of the day?  Well it seems that the original Pilgrim colony took a little gamble with communism.  They initially believed that the scant resources of the colony should be shared commonly along with the products of their efforts.  If you are reading this blog, you  probably already know what happens next, but if you don't....this is it in a nutshell.

After a season, the common production was not adequate to meet the needs of the entire colony.  When men found they could get the same amount of resources spending less time in the field, that is precisely what happened.  Back then it was called malingering, today it is called generational welfare and it's a business for some.  Illness and injury also strained the fledgling Pilgrim system (shades of Obamacare)?  Thefts from the community storehouse occurred regularly, suspicions rose and the colony was nearly wiped out during the first vicious winter.  The colonists endured for two more years before implementing a plan of individual responsibility.  People would now be able to keep what they produced and sell any surpluses.

Pilgrim governor Bradford wrote:

The experience that was had in this commone course and condition, tried sundrie years, and that amongst godly and sober men, may well evince the vanitie of that conceite of Plato & other ancients, applauded by some of later times;—that ye taking away of properties, and bringing it in communitie into a commone wealth, would make them happy and flourishing; as if they were wiser than God.
For this communitie (so farr as it was) was found to breed much confusion & discontent, and retard much employment that would have been to their benefite and comforte. For yet young men that were most able and fitte for labor & services did repine that they should spend their time & strength to worke for other men’s wives and children with out any recompense.

Things turned around for the colonists when they were set FREE to produce for themselves and others if they could.  But it doesn't end here.  They colonists were under a crushing debt.  It seems that their escape to the freedom of North America had been financed by a consortium back home.......at 45% per year.  It took decades to repay, but they did it because they were free and prosperous, but a whole generation suffered to pay that debt.  Pretty "right on" when looking at today isn't it? 

Our current president and his party are myopic.  They see the world the way they want it, but not how it is.  This stubborn adherence to failed doctrine is very dangerous and virtually assures us that we doomed to repeat history as long as they lead us.  We need to rid ourselves of them before it is too late.

Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?

This is like a bad dream.  Obama isn't really going to close Gitmo and bring terrorists to the US to stand trial....is he?  In an administration that is becoming known for misstep after misstep, this one stands out.  Are we really bringing a Muslim extremist, who plead GUILTY to the 9/11 attacks, into our country for a show trial? What do I mean by show?  It will show how meaningless our judicial system is.  Trial lawyers run amok, lawsuits, delays congestion.  It is going to be a showcase of American incompetence.

Take the building blocks of this trial for example.  Was Mohammed "Mirandized"?  Will he get a speedy trial?  Is he even eligible to use the system?  Were his confessions coerced; you know, waterboarded out of him?  You can easily see a path to acquittal if this murderer is accorded all the rights of a US citizen.  He's not!  He's a stinking filthy terrorist dog that should have been executed a long time ago.  What if we get a judge like former SCOTUS justice David Souter?   There is a real chance Mohammed will be released.  How about that?

As it is, now we have to look forward to "Jihad on Parade" for the next decade or more.  Yes decade, especially if Eric Holder goes for the death penalty like he said he would.  Probably in parallel with Ft. Hood shooter Hassan.  But is something else afoot?   After all Holder has a history of pardoning terrorists, and Black Panthers and Bill Clinton's pal Mark Rich.  We are being set up.  Nothing good can come of this stupid, stupid try for liberal ecstacy.  Be forewarned.  The best we can hope for is a rebellion of the people to sweep the liberal lunatics from power.   Better yet a riot that drives Obama for cover and forces a reversal of this dangerous precedent.   If this doesn't do it, we're all "toast".

If It Quacks Like A Duck

We had a massacre at Fort Hood; 13 dead and scores wounded, many of them critically.  The shooter was Nidal Malik Hassan.   It wasn't but a few hours before the liberal spin began. Hassan was a good American, a proud soldier and genuine good guy. The media tension was palpable. Was anyone brave enough to draw the Muslim connection?

Well the usual suspects weighed in in the form of FOX News and talk radio to draw the connection to Jihad, but the politicians, mainstream media and the White House were so, so careful. After all, this is an administration who has forbid the use of "War on Terror" in its official announcements. It would seem that the radical Islamist threat can be willed away with an edict from His Majesty Barack; "just don't talk about it, we don't want to embarrass our friends the Muslims". Well I'm one guy who believes the old adage; "if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck"......well it's a duck, like it or not.

A few days have passed since the shooting and a few brave souls have dared to call the Ft. Hood massacre an act of terrorism. Bully for them....they saw the "duck". As more and more damning information leaks out about Hassan's activities; communicating with a radical imam in Yemen; openly supporting suicide bombings, attempts to contact Al Queda....the list goes on, even the naysayers have been grudgingly pushed to admit there's something bigger going on here. Except the die hard lunatics like MSNBC's Chris Matthews, who not so surprisingly declared that "it's not a crime to call Al Queda". What? Mister "Tingle in the leg" should have lost his job a long time ago.   Send him to the front in Afghanistan.   But aside from the obligatory eulogies from the White House, the administration has been downright stubborn to come forward with the truth. In fact, we need to take a lesson from the Brits inasmuch as the first probative reports about Hassan the terrorist came from British Journalists. Can you believe that, our own mainstream reporters getting scooped on a domestic issue by the foreign press? I guess you can believe it or you wouldn't be looking at this blog.

Hopefully some real investigations will be launched, but expect White House heel dragging.  In the bitter end a few scapegoats will be selected to make the matter go away.  Then there is Hassan, now out of ICU (getting great health care without the public option).  He will surely enjoy toying with the US legal system as we struggle to bring him to trial for his crimes.  The real crime is that he is not dead and partying with his 72 virgins.  If he gets the death penalty, will the sentence be carried out?  Will CAIR step in and lobby for clemency?  Will Barack let him off the hook?  It should be interesting.

One thing is for certain.  Political correctness is killing us. Refusal to look the enemy in the eye and expose him, confront him and defeat him will lead to ruin. But never fear, Barack will save us, or so the schoolkids sing. But then again Barack wrote in his Audacity of Hope; "I will stand with the Muslims if the political winds shift in an ugly direction".   I guess when "push comes to shove" Barack's got it covered with his Muslim "bros".  But what about the rest of us?.

Useful Idiots on Parade

Occasionally something comes along that is so choice, and so on target, that you have to run with it.  It befuddles most right thinkers why liberals show blind adherence to their ideas despite all forms of reason.  Well the liberal Kool Aid brigade was on full display in San Diego yesterday protesting in favor of the government's single payer health care option.  You know the one.....the one likely to fall in the footsteps of bankrupt Medicare and Social Security.  The one that history tells us will be another Amtrak, Post Office or Government Motors (formerly GM).

The event was organized by a  panoply of liberal organizations with names like Center for the Working Poor, Prosperity Agenda and Progressive (read liberal) Democrats of America.  "I believe that health care is a human right" squeaked one elderly retired doctor.  I guess no one told her that to create that "right" for an individual you have to strip the rights from others by force.....like the freedom to choose and the right right to spend one's hard earned money.  This is what the libs want and it can only be found at the end a gun.

Oh yes, and there was the usual liberal blather about corporate bonuses, excessive profits and lobbying.  Too bad that they didn't check up on the target of their protest.  They just chose big, bad Blue Shield.  Seems reasonable.  Unfortunately for them Blue Shield happens to be a NOT FOR PROFIT insurer who SUPPORTS UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE.   Ooooops.  Wrong target, do I get a "do over"?

This airhead crap is what we right thinkers are up against.  Without thought or reason the liberals blindly march out like lemmings to the sea in righteous indignation for their cause.  There were, of course, the usual misdemeanor arrests found at leftest protests (which have not been occurring at Tea Party events).   All I can say is that Karl Marx would be proud of his 30 "useful idiots" who showed up at the Blue Shield offices in San Diego yesterday; proving once again that the Right is once again.....well....right.

Dysfunctional Democrats for America

I am working on my shortest post.  Sometimes it's easy to miss the forest for the trees.  Such is the case in the New Jersey guburnatorial contest.  Today Obama jaunts off to New Jersey to stump for John Corzine.  Corzine, by anyone's measure is the worst governor NJ has had in a long time. Corruption, high taxation, union strangleholds and populace flight all plague the state.  So why would anyone vote the guy back in?  Blind partisanship.  Forget what's good for the state.  Oh, then there's the Goldman Sachs connection.  Corzine is an alumnus of that firm that so successfully picked the taxpayers pockets with bailout money.

Good judgement and an unbiased viewpoint would lead one to believe that Corzine has got to go, but Obama has shown himself to be as partisan as all his cabal and then some.  Obama is not asking himself what's really the best for the people of the state of NJ.  It is not a "change" he can deal with for power's sake.  Obama has his own national messes to make bigger and he is anxious to avoid a big embarrassment from the New Jersey election fallout.  Cross your fingers for Christy.
